Who we are and what we do...
|
The Tenth Congressional District Democratic Committee (10th CDDC) is comprised of Democrats from various counties and independent cities across the Northern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Members are elected every 4 years by their fellow Democrats in convention and can come from the following counties: Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Fauquier, Clarke, Warren, and Frederick; and from the following cities: Manassas, Manassas Park, and Winchester.
The primary purpose of the congressional district committee is to recruit, nominate, support, and help elect a Democratic Party member of the United States House of Representatives. In addition, the committee works to support Democratic candidates for state and national office.
Along with members from the other congressional district committees in Virginia, 10th District members comprise the State Central Committee of the Democratic Party of Virginia.
